Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of unioneap.com and the text messaging program operated by Union EAP LLC (“Union EAP,” “we,” “us”). By using this website or opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the text messaging program.
About Union EAP
Union EAP is an employee assistance program that partners with organized labor. Our Care Coordinators help union members and their families connect with support for mental health, substance use, family, financial, legal and other concerns.
In an emergency, call 911. If you are in crisis, call (855) 500-1915 any hour, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Do not rely on text messages or this website for emergency help.
Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
Program name: Union EAP Care Coordination Texts.
Program description: Union EAP sends text messages from its toll-free number, (855) 500-1915, to members, their family members and union contacts who opt in. Messages include care coordination updates, appointment and document reminders, callback notices when we miss your call, replies to questions you text us, and Union EAP service announcements.
How you opt in: You may opt in by checking the text message consent box on a form on unioneap.com, by texting Union EAP first, or by giving a Care Coordinator verbal permission to text you. Consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving any Union EAP service.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your needs and your interactions with your Care Coordinator.
Cost: Union EAP does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
Opting out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving text messages. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. To opt back in, reply START or opt in again on our website.
Help: Reply HELP to any message for help, call (855) 500-1915, or email info@unioneap.com.
Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: Mobile numbers and text message opt-in information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your information.
Your number: Please tell us if you change or deactivate the mobile number you gave us, so we don’t send messages meant for you to someone else.
Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes related to Union EAP services. You agree not to misuse the website, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, submitting false information, or using it to harass or harm others.
